Afritrails provides Trail bookings and related accommodation bookings for the many gorgeous overnight trails in South Africa. As a hiker, this is your one-stop web site to find out about the trails, book your hike, and find pre- and post-trail accommodation.
Instant book sites are integrated to the appropriate booking engine for Live Availability checks and Bookings, and many more accommodations are managed by emails response forms, so that a property can accept bookings without requiring anything more than an email client.
The Technology
Trail information is stored in a Sanity headless CMS that allows easy extension and management by Afritrails of all their data. The website is developed in React, with Tailwind CSS. The back-end is a Node JS solution.
